Grief is one of the unspoken realities in our lives. Friendships end. We break up with partners. A family member or friend dies. Things don’t turn out the way we hoped. There are so many ways we grieve, and it is key to acknowledge them. Here are some of the books and resources I have used to help me through some tough times.
- The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion
- Wild by Cheryl Strayed
- The Top Five Regrets of the Dying by Bronnie Ware
- The Long Run by Catriona Menzies-Pike
- When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi
- The End of Your Life Book Club by Will Schwalbe
- Running Home: A Memoir by Katie Arnold
- Motherless Mothers by Hope Edelman
- The Fall of Freddy the Leaf
